1. JUNIOR MONTHLY MEDALS AND STABLEFORDS
Description:
A monthly competition for all Junior Members
A marker for a medal must be a Member of Langdon Hills Golf Club and hold a CDH no.
Format: A medal or Stableford competition as denoted by the entry sheet.
Handicap Allowance: Full

2. BOWYER SHIELD
Description:
A one day 18 hole competition for Junior Members
Format: Stableford
Handicap Allowance: Full
Entry Fee: £1
3. OWEN’S TROPHY
Description:
A one day 18 hole competition for Junior Members
Format: Stableford
Handicap Allowance: Full
Entry Fee: £1
4. NORTH STARR TROPHY
Description:
Player of the year competition, Points will be awarded for each major competition.
Knockout, Bowyer Shield, Owen’s Cup, Junior Championship plus six of the best
medal/Stableford finishes throughout the year.
Format: 10 points to the winner, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Down to the lowest amount of people
playing in each competition.
Handicap Allowance: Full

5. SUMMER SINGLES KNOCKOUT
Description:
Match play knockout competition, rounds to be played between 1st May and September 30th
each year.
The draw will indicate the completion of each round. Failure to complete a match and post
the result by the due date will result in the disqualification of both entrants. Entrants are to
arrange their own match.
Format: Match Play
Handicap Allowance: FULL HANDICAP ALLOWANCE

6. JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
Description:
A one day 18 hole competition for Junior Members. To qualify Junior members must have
played a minimum of three qualifying rounds over the courses of Langdon Hills Golf Club, in
junior events.
Format: Medal
Handicap Allowance: Full
Entry Fee: £1
7. MORGAN CUP
Description:
A one day 18 hole competition for a Junior Member and an Adult
Format: Aggregate Stableford scoring.
Handicap Allowance: Full
Entry Fee: £2 per couple
