Captain's Away Trip (11th & 12th August 2024)
Host - Duncan Grover
Open to all members: I am planning a captains away trip on the above dates to Dunstan Hall Spa and Golf resort in Norwich. The trip includes one night dinner, bed & breakfast and two rounds of golf. Cost per person is £160 based on sharing a twin room, supplements are applicable for single rooms (these are limited). Transport will be depending on numbers. Price also includes money for Prizes over the two days.

Captain's Charity Ball (Friday 15th March 2024)
Essex Foresomes Champions 2023
Congratulations to Ben Tobin and Josh Tobin of Langdon Hills Golf club for becoming the Essex Foresomes champions of 2023.
Played at West Essex Golf Club in some very blustery conditions, the Tobin brothers struggled on the first 18 holes shooting +9 (80) leaving themselves 6 shots off the lead and looking out of the running at the halfway stage.
The afternoon conditions didn't improve, but the golf of Ben and Josh did, shooting an impressive -4 (67), five better than anyone else, leaving them on a combined total of 147 clinching the title on countback.
Congratulations to the Brothers on a fantastic win.

Captain's day was a huge success again this year, -clearly enjoyed by all !
Club Championship - 25-6-2023
Congratulations to our Club Championship winners - Les Meredith (Club Champion) and Duncan Grover (Club Handicap)
The winners of the Foundation Classic this year were The Professionals, pictured with Club President and event organiser Steve Cook. This motley array of bandits gross scored 52 with a net of 51 in a Texas Scramble event. They went out in 23 and came back in 29. Even with four attempts on each shot, that is some going!
The event raise approx. £1200 for the Junior foundation - thanks to all those that attended
